Privacy Policy
Template document. This text is a general template and requires review by a qualified legal professional before it is relied upon. It is not legal advice. The terms that apply to a recruitment engagement are those in your signed recruitment agreement.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by GV Staffing, a remote staffing and recruitment agency that is part of Growvern (“GV Staffing”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website and in the course of our recruitment services. You can reach us through the contact details on our Contact page.
2. Information we collect
- Inquiry and contact forms: your name, email address, company name, company website, the roles and number of hires you are interested in, skills and responsibilities, budget or salary range, hiring timeline and any message you choose to send.
- Technical information: a one-way hashed version of your IP address (we do not store the IP address itself), your browser’s user-agent string and the page from which a form was submitted, including campaign (UTM) parameters if present.
- Candidate information: if you are a candidate, the details you or a referrer provide to us, such as your CV, work history, skills, availability and contact details.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and discuss your hiring needs.
- To provide recruitment services, including sourcing, screening and introducing candidates.
- To send you a confirmation that we received your form, if this is enabled.
- To protect the website against spam and abuse.
- To meet legal, accounting and record-keeping obligations.
4. Legal basis
Where data protection laws require a legal basis, we generally rely on your consent (given when you submit a form), our legitimate interests in operating a recruitment business and responding to inquiries, and the steps needed to enter into or perform a contract with you.
5. Cookies
This website uses essential cookies to keep forms secure (a security token) and to maintain your session. If we enable website analytics, we will update this policy to describe the cookies used and, where required, ask for your consent first.
6. Sharing your information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only where necessary: with service providers that host our website and email, with clients or candidates as part of a recruitment process you are involved in, and where required by law.
7. International transfers
We work with businesses and candidates in different countries, so your information may be processed outside your country of residence. Where required, we take reasonable steps to protect it during such transfers.
8. How long we keep information
We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond and to manage any resulting business relationship, and candidate information for a limited period that we review regularly. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, contact us using the details on our Contact page.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections, restricted access to our systems and hashed technical identifiers.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
